WE ARE PART OF A WHOLE...

This phrase makes more sense to me now than it ever did before. .
We have seen how easy it is for a virus to go on a world tour from china to almost the uttermost parts of the world been aided by us HUMANS. Just like the plantains in this pic all clustered together, we hv realised dat as far as we think we are from each other, WE ARE PART OF A WHOLE.

I dont know if the govt is carrying out as much sensitization as they should, but one thing i know is that the many Lagosians who are eager to break out of lockdown on Monday are not ready.

We are part of a whole that, so much as a few people try to take all precautions, wash hands, clean surfaces, wear masks, be physicaly distant, the IRRESPONSIBILITY of one person can ruin it for d rest.

Trust me, It is not easy. The rules & caution of #covid19 is STRESSFUL. I struggle, frm knowing how to handle deliveries that come in my house to touching door knobs to touching taps & dropping items on surfaces, it is almost impossible.

Hence, it has to start from the begining. As part of the WHOLE, every single person has to take responsibility for the other person, because your carelessness can jeopardise the health of another... "all lizard they crawl with belle, we no fit know the one wey belle dey bite". We can't tell who has that underlying illness or compromised immunity though everyone may seem fine, so we have to take responsibilty for the safety of one another.

Eg: Are people ordering food frm u? Pls wear ur mask from cooking to packaging, sanitize ur packages b4 handing to delivery.
Are u a delivery person? Can you ensure that you have your mask on and clean hands b4 recieving packages? Can u wash and sanitize again b4 handing over to reciever, then wash and sanitize b4 next pick up?Do you manage a shop or bakery? Can u mandate all shoppers to wash and sanitize thier hands from entry with their masks worn? Are you a shopper? Can you try not to touch items with unclean hands? Shop with your eyes and pick what you are taking home. ETC

We hv to be intentional & Responsible. WE ARE PART OF A WHOLE & we must look out 4 each other with love to beat the #coronavirus .
