CHAPATI (FLAT BREAD) & CURRY BRUNCH

So Power went off ( i don't even know if they are phcn or IKDC Or BDC, i honestly don't know what the power people are called these days) and whenever power goes off the first thing on my mind is my Fridge and food.

While searching for what to save from the fridge, i discovered left over #dough from last shoot, left over #mincedmeat and Left over Sausage Curry Sauce from the Birthday table so i just thought #chapati

#Flat bread are a staple for #Indians and #Asians , not too popular in #Nigerian homes except for #shawarma loving people but my Dad (God bless his soul) loved flat bread a lot. Am sure those #lebanese shops at Ogba definetely missed him a lot when he passed.
Anyway, Flat Bread this morning, here is what i did.
INGREDIENTS
Left over dough (flour, water & Salt/ will show you how someday soon)
Minced meat
#Onions
#Pepper
#Curry Powder
#Oregano
#Thyme
#Seasoning
Left over Sausage Curry #Sauce
#Butter
#Oil
#Garlic
PREPARATION
Divide dough into small balls and roll out flat. Heat up a pan over medium heat and lay flattened dough. Flip to cook other side. Repeat with the rest batches and rub butter on the bread
For Curry Sauce, heat oil and add some cloves of garlic, add chopped onions and saute till translucent. Add the minced meat, Pepper, oregano, thyme and seasoning, stir and allow to cook for about 7 to 10 minutes. ( I added the left over sauce at this point but you dont need to if you dont have leftovers)

Add some water and thicken with corn flour, allow to cook for another 5 minutes then turn stove off ( it gets thicker as it cools). Serve ( I added some left over Beans on my plate too) and feel like an Indian in Nigeria ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰. Have a super Blessed week.
