So this is Bobos' brunch today as soon as he got back from the gym... that is however not the story.
The story is in prepping this catfish for the table. Most Fridays, i usually make oven grilled
Catfish for my friends BUT i always get the vendors to kill it before it gets to my kitchen.
This fateful Friday, i asked my vendor to kill them before bringing it, i even wrote it in an sms and that was how i got 13 live Catfish in my Kitchen.
See guys, you see Chicken, i started killing that one since i was like 14, i have not tried killing 4 legs but this wriggly wriggly Catfish, killing it doesn't just work.
After battling the first one with a pestle, i knew i was going to end up cracking up the head or destroying my sink or something sha in that kitchen because the Fish will not just stay put.
Google to the rescue! I typed "How to kill Catfish" and i chose the easiest option. May not have been the best ( this vendor will have to kill it her way b4 bringing it next time, else i send them back)
All the Fishes in a deep bucket and added some salt. Okayyyy! Some flew all over, however in 4 mins they were gentle, so i could handle with my towel, cut them open to clean their guts, Cleaned them with more salt, marinaded them, wrapped in foil and into a preheated oven they go.
Came out after 45minutes looking steamingly gorgeous.
My Bobos, couldn't eat his own yesterday, so i just warmed it up in the oven this morning and added some fried Yam and Ketchup.
