AKARA CREPES

How was your weekend Foodaholics? I trust it was super. This is to welcome the over 50 new foodaholics that joined our facebook platform today. I truly appreciate you all for clicking the like button. Thank you.

As per our Tip for Ramadan the other day that stated that avoiding greasy food will also help in avoiding bloating, it is of good knowledge that most muslim homes will always go for Akara during Suhoor in this clime.
So i decided to share this Akara Crepes, not only for less grease/oil but also very good to save time for those who will wake up early to prepare the meals. Rather than deep frying batches of the Akara just make crepes outta it.
All you need are the Usual Akara ingredients and some semolina.
INGREDIENTS
Beans 2cups
Pepper to taste
Half Bulb of onions
Salt and seasoning to taste
Half cup of semolina
2 Eggs
And one table spoon of oil to coat pan for each batch.
The food processor is the fastest way i know of so far to peel Beans, just pour beans in water, rinse, scoop into the food processor, blitz for a minute or 2, pour into a bowl and rinse of the chaff.
Blend beans into paste with your blender and blend in all other ingredients to a consistency that is not too watery.

Heat up a pan (prefferably a non stick pan) and add a table spoon of oil

Pour barter into the pan

You can see it solidifies

Flip to cook the other side and then serve with Tea, Pap or even Bread.
