BUSH MEAT OKRA SOUP


Greatest Foodaholics!!!.... Hailings from my end o, I trust you are all having a great weekend. My Weekend has been great, my Saturdays these days are spent mostly at home and i am loving it

Anyway, whenever Bobos visits the village, i am always the very happy one, reason being that things Like Grasscutter, Antelope and their friends find their way to my Freezer. Have you tried making Stew with Grasscutter? OMG!... Story for another day.
So lunch today was Okra soup and Poundo Yam, Some people are still sleeping since after lunch   Anyway, you know i like to do fast and simple, the recipe for this Bush Meat decked Okra soup goes thus: 

INGREDIENTS
Okra 4 hands full
Beef
Bushmeat
Palm Oil 2 Cooking Spoons
Onion Half bulb
Seasoning
Salt
Rosemary leaves 1 teaspoon
Dried Fish
Smoked Fish
Iru
Fresh Pepper
Cameroun Pepper

Clean and grate Okra

Season Beef with salt, Seasoning cubes, Rosemary Leaves, Onions and boil till tender

DA PRESSING THINGZ!!!.... Bush Meat (Grasscutter), Dry Fish, Smoked Fish, Locust Beans for Seasoning. Clean them all and set aside.

Transfer Meat and stock to a bigger pot, add the pressing thingz, Iru, Cameroun Pepper and Palm oil then bring to a rolling boil.

Add the grated Okra to the Meat. Make sure u dont use so much water so it doesnt loose its viscosity... hmm that is to say, if water too much, the Okra no go draw. So start will small water and if Okra is too thick, add water bit by bit to loosen it to your desire

Stir and adjust seasoning to taste, Elevate look with diced Fresh Pepper. Okra shouldn't be overcooked so it doesn't loose that awesome crunch and the nutrients too. 3 mins Max turn of the cooker and the heat will do the rest. Enjoy with choice Swallow.
