Lemony Roast Chicken/Win a Carton of Queen of Syrah Wine

Foodaholics - I am thinking some whole Chicken roast this week, so i dug up this my Lemony Roast Chicken. it's amazingly yummy. Check out the recipe and tell me "HOW MANY MINUTES IT TAKES TO ROAST A CHICKEN" the 1st and 15th correct answer wins a Carton of Queen of Syrah Wine.


INGREDIENTS
Whole Chicken
Potatoes
Vegetable oil
Soy sauce
Lemon
Garlic
Onions
Seasoning/ Spice/Herbs
Salt


PREPARATION
In a bowl Grate the Lemon to get the rinds, melt about 2 table spoons of butter, mince Garlic or chop into very tiny bits, add seasoning, spice and herbs as desired, add a spoon of soy sauce and mix. 



Sprinkle little amount of Salt on all sides of the Chicken, mix the marinade thoroughly and rub on the chicken, underneath the skin and cavity. Stuff chicken wuth Lemon, Garlic and lots of onions by placing them inside the cavity. (You can do this overnight and keep in your fridge or an hour before roasting).

Pre-heat your oven, Place chicken in a roasting pan, (you can make a bed of onions and Garlic in the pan before placing chicken). Put it in the oven and allow to roast for one hour 30 minutes. (Click to watch video)

 
To make French fries (Potato Chips), salt (optional) your thinly sliced potatoes (slice straight to look like fingers) and fry in heated vegetable oil until golden and crisp.

Serve Roast Chicken and fries with salad, top with befitting salad dressing.
