Recipe: SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE





INGREDIENTS

Tomatoes
Fresh pepper
Vegetable oil, seasoning cubes
Red wine
Onions
Green pepper
Minced meat
Garlic
Salt
Spring onion
Golden Penny Spaghetti
Seasonings and herbs



PREPARATION

Dice or chop tomatoes, Peppers and Onions

Put a pan on the cooker and one and half cooking spoon of Vegetable oil allow to heat then add salt, pressed or diced garlic, spring onion (reserve some for garnishing). Add your Peppers and chopped tomatoes.
While it sautés, in a pan, cook your minced meat until it turns pale.

Add your red wine to the tomatoes sauce and season as desired, transfer minced meat to the sauce and cook on low heat, add tomato paste (for redness) and sauce is ready as soon as the sour taste from tomato paste has been eliminated. Note: you can add tomato paste before chopped tomatoes, but if you are not adding so much liquid to your sauce, you may like to add it last to prevent sauce sticking to the pot or burning.
Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil add salt and 2 teaspoon of vegetable oil add your spaghetti and cook al dente for not more than 10minutes, drain and serve with sauce, garnish with spring onions and parmesan cheese (optional) and don’t forget to share.
