After an extensive remodelling, Bolingo Hotel and Towers, Abuja is re-launching it’s hotel situated at Independence Avenue, Central Business District in Abuja, with a new General Manager and executive team. In the contemporary-styled, new Bolingo, you will find bright rooms with an upmarket and trendy feel.
Morten Ebbesen has been appointed the General Manager. Ebbesen is a Danish National, with over 30 years experience in the hospitality sector. Ebbesen is “African at heart”, having worked all over the continent. He first came to Abuja in 1993 and understands the need to combine a warm hospitality experience with unforgettable service excellence.
"Bolingo has hired a new team to rebrand, renovate and re-launch Bolingo Hotel and Towers as a leader and trendsetter, bringing international standards to the hospitality industry in Nigeria", said the Managing Director, Chief Okey Igweh in a statement. Opened in 1995, the property has undergone an extensive makeover to re-invigorate the Bolingo brand and plans to re-launch on the 22nd of May, where invited guests will indulge in cocktails and a preview of the new look rooms and facilities at Bolingo.
The hotel has remained open the entire time. “It’s a work in progress,” Ebbesen said. Operating the hotel through major construction has been a logistical challenge but Bolingo is back, is revitalized and has developed new and creative ways to engage it's loyal guests and to introduce the hotel to a new generation of travellers, offering an unforgettable experience in comfort, service and excellence.
