INGREDIENTS
Ogbono Seeds (Bush Mango Seeds)
Bush Meat
Palm Oil
Dry Fish
Kpomo
Crayfish
Stock Fish
Snail
Okro (For garnishing)
Meat
Crayfish
Cameroon Pepper
Season and Boil Meat till soft, grind Ogbono with Crayfish and Pepper, then melt in palm oil (make sure nu lumps remain)- (watch video for tips)
Add stockfish, Bushmeat, Kpomo, snail allow to cook for 3mins, then pour the melted Ogbono into the boiling Broth, watch for resilience then turn your soup with wooden spoon, as soon as soup is even (ie Ogbono is properly mixed with broth) add the Dry fish (this can be added before the ogbono if you don’t mind it breaking).
Allow to cook for 3mins then garnish with your grated or chopped Okro, season to taste then cook for 3mins before turning off your cooker. NOTE: Do not cover soup pot as soon as you add the Ogbono mixture. Covering it before it is cool will make soup lose its resilience. And of course Good Luck!
